If the permit number is not known or when searching enter criteria in any combination of fields to prevent expansive query results. Use the combination of the followings fields:

• Apply or Issued date range
• Permit status O = Open (application or issuance permit), Close, Hold, Expired
• Permit Type - Select a construction job permit type based upon application submitted

Additional searching by property criteria

• PREFERRED: Folio Number / Parcel ID - A 14 digit number unique to each property. Using this ID will assure a more comprehensive search result
• Address - May return unintentionally large or incomplete results

Note: For VIOLATIONS for unlicensed contractor / contractor violations search by selecting Permit Type=VIOLATION/CEB MATTER. Additionally, the Parcel ID is entered as the name of the violator.

Use the "*" or "%" symbol as substitute for a single or multiple characteres and/or numbers if unknown. Caution : this may return an expansive list of results.
