Sec. 6-102. - Permit application time
limitations.
(a)Time limitations on permit application. Unless
the permit has been issued or the approved permit
application has been
entered into the permit allocation system process
as provided for under part II of this Code, an
application for a permit
shall be deemed to have been abandoned and become
null and void six months after the date of filing
for the permit,
except as otherwise provided for in this chapter.
A one-time extension for a period of not more than
90 days may be
authorized by the building official provided that
the extension is requested in writing along with a
nonrefundable fee.
