This is a stilt Post FIRM SFR with an elevated
finished floor at 13.6 feet NGVD, according to the
elevation certificate on file in the closed SFR
permit #05106314. The adjusted building value is
$264,163. This permit in the amount of $2,435.00,
combined with renovation permit #17106736, and
#17107410, totals $230,435.00 and represents an
87.2% improvement and is deemed substantial.
Substantially damaged or substantially improved
structures are treated as new construction and
must meet all current floodplain regulations,
including elevation of any meter, utilities
servicing the elevated structure must be elevated
above the design flood elevation of 9 feet NGVD,
if they are not already. Grade appears to be
approximately 3.8 feet. All new electric
components should be elevated to no lower than 5.2
feet above grade. Pursuant to 122-3(f) -
components are required to be placed at the bare
minimum height levels, and it is always
recommended to go higher if possible. Any area

foot vented AE zone storage enclosure. Prior to
closing 17106736, a new finished construction
elevation certificate must be submitted and
approved by the Floodplain Coordinator. Approved
and deemed substantial. This approval does not
deem to confer lawful status to any unpermitted
