SEC. 114-163.-WATERFRONT LIGHTING. ALL OUTDOOR
LIGHTING WITHIN 25 FEET OF ANY BODY OF WATER SHALL
BE CUTOFF LIGHTS AND SHALL NOT EXCEED 18 FEET
ABOVE GRADE.
FLOODPLAIN MANAGEMENT CONDITIONS: Located in SFHA
zone AE 8 with a design flood elevation of 9 feet.
Pool/spa must be anchored to prevent flotation,
lateral movement or collapse during or as a result
of conditions of the base flood. Pool equipment
must be either:
A. Elevated and securely anchored to prevent
flotation and protected to prevent water from
entering or accumulating within the components
during conditions of flooding.
OR
B. If not elevated, be anchored to prevent
flotation and protected to prevent water from
entering or accumulating within the components
during conditions of flooding. Unless properly
elevated, pool equipment may not be placed within
an enclosure under an elevated house. Lights and
machinery serving the pool and located below DFE
must be on own separate GFCI protected circuit
breaker and clearly marked on electrical panel so
power can be disconnected in case of a flood

ANY OPENINGS LEADING FROM RESIDENCE TO POOL MUST
BE EQUIPPED WITH AN ALARM SYSTEM.
GATES ON FENCES MUST BE SELF CLOSING AND SELF
LOCKING OR KIDS SAFE NET TO BE INSTALLED PRIOR
TO FINAL POOL INSPECTION.
