FLOODPLAIN APPROVAL CONDTIONS: Installation of a
residential propane fueled electrical generator
within a Special Flood Hazard Area, a Mapped
Repetitive Flood Loss Area and a FEMA designated
AE-9 flood zone with a minimum Design Flood
Elevation (DFE) of +10-ft NGVD. The grade is at an
elevation of +2.4-ft NGVD (by EC), placing the DFE
at +7.6-ft above the lowest adjacent grade.
An appropriately sized concrete slab is necessary
for counter-buoyancy weight accompanied by
strapping keeping the tanks secured to the slab.
The submittal lacks the necessary design details
of the slab establishing effective
counter-buoyancy measures, as applicable to the
size and number of fuel tanks specified. S.F.
