FLOODPLAIN MANAGMENT Located in SFHA zone AE 9
with a design flood elevation(DFE) of 10 feet
NGVD. This is a post FIRM stilt SFR with a very
large permitted ground level enclosure.
Owner allowed the pre-permitting inspection of
lower enclosure in order to be able to improve it,
pursuant to section 122-4(a)(9). The only
nonconformities observed were the lack of
sufficient flood vents. See permit 18106272 for
the conditions required to improve the enclosure.
The overall enclosure is 1578 and requires 1578
net square inches of flood venting in the exterior
walls. There are two sections enclosed, a large
garage and the entry foyer. The entry foyer is
being renovated with new stairs and cement board
finish. There must also be a minimum of two flood
vents in the entry foyer. If neither of the vents
is in the exterior wall, the square inches of the
foyer vents will not count towards the overall
required net area but must be sufficient for the
foyer area in size. This requirement has been
added to sister permit 18106272 and a 157
inspection has been added to that permit as well.

INSPECTIONS OR A CERTIFICATE, IF APPLICABLE.
APPROVED SITE SPECIFIC DESIGN PRESSURES AND
MANUFACTURE SPECIFICATIONS MUST BE ON SITE FOR
INSPECTIONS.
IF LABELS ARE REMOVED, THE INSPECTION WILL FAIL.
ALL DEBRIS TO BE REMOVED TO A PERMITTED DISPOSAL
FACILITY.
