Floodplain: Located in SFHA zone VE 12 with a
design flood elevation of 13 feet NGVD. This is a
post FIRM stilt SFR. The elevation certificate on
file does not give an elevation of the lowest
horizontal structural member, but the flnished
floor is at 13.6 feet so most likely this home has
been rendered nonconforming due to a change in
flood zone and therefore is and subject to the
regulations concerning substantial damage,
otherwise known as the 50% rule. This permit,
combined with two other hurricane repair
permits(17106795 and 18100817 total $118,590 and
represent a 40.8% improvement. Approved and deemed
nonsubstantial. Approval of this permit does not
guarantee future permits should the structure be
determined to be substantially damaged, unless
such permits addressed and corrected any existing
nonconformity. This permit includes siding the
enclosure at the ground level. A 157 inspection
has been added to this permit to verify the
enclosure is fully compliant with current VE zone
regulations, ie breakaway, with only one outlet
and one light switch, both located on the columns.
