FAMILY RESIDENCE, UNLESS IT IS ELEVATED TO OR
ABOVE THE BASE FLOOD ELEVATION.
ANY OPENINGS LEADING FROM RESIDENCE TO POOL MUST
BE EQUIPPED WITH AN ALARM SYSTEM.
GATES ON FENCES MUST BE SELF CLOSING AND SELF
LOCKING OR KIDS SAFE NET TO BE INSTALLED PRIOR
TO FINAL POOL INSPECTION.
ALL ELECTRICAL WORK ON THIS PERMIT SHALL COMPLY
WITH ALL THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE 2014 EDITION OF
THE NEC.

Division. Work performed within the right of way

addition to a permit issued by the Monroe County
Building Department and /or the utilities. It is
the responsibility of the owner to obtain all

obtain a right of way permit when required may
result in work stoppages or penalties.

Located in SFHA zone AE 10. Pool/spa must be
anchored to prevent flotation, lateral movement or
collapse during or as a result of conditions of
the base flood. Pool equipment must be either:
A. elevated and securely anchored to prevent
flotation and protected to prevent water from
entering or accumulating within the components
during conditions of flooding. OR B. If not
elevated, be anchored to prevent flotation and
protected to prevent water from entering or
accumulating within the components during
conditions of flooding.
Unless properly elevated, pool equipment may not
be placed within an enclosure under an elevated
house. Lights and machinery serving the pool and
located below BFE must be on own separate GFI
protected circuit breaker and clearly marked on
electrical panel so power can be disconnected in
case of a flood event.
ALL DEBRIS TO BE REMOVED TO A PERMITTED DISPOSAL
FACILITY.
