Floodplain Management: Flood approval for a 192
square foot shed with the following conditions:
1) For limited storage, parking or entry only.
2) No habitation, finishes, plumbing, mechanical,
utilities allowed.
3) No electric this permit.
4) No temperature control allowed.
5) Walls must be vented in accordance with Monroe
County Floodplain Ordinance with a net opening of
1 square inch for every 1 square foot of enclosed
space. Shed must have a minimum of two openings on
separate walls. The bottom of the openings must be
within 1 foot of adjacent grade. The entire
opening must be at or below BFE.
6) Shed must be anchored to resist flotation,
permanent lateral movement and collapse during
conditions or as a result of the base flood.
This approval does not deem to confer lawful
status to any unpermitted improvements on this
parcel. Approval of this permit does not guarantee
future permits, unless such permits addressed and
corrected any existing non-conformity - MJ
